Capital Appeal

The work on the planning of and necessary detailed research into our £2 million appeal to enable us to develop Lansdowne House is underway. Sandcliff consultants are carrying out this work, which will be completed in February with the private phase of the work continuing from this. The public appeal will  be launched later this year.

Our campaign, which will not be easy, is operating under the guidance of an advisory group whose members include our two local MPs John Randall and John McDonnell. This group meets regularly and we are grateful to all its members for their time and skill.

STAFF CHANGES

Ann Hicks our Day Care Sister left the Hospice in November.

Dennis Hodgkins joined us on January 1st as  the  Day Hospice Manager. Dennis  previously worked for a charity in                administration and most recently was  employed by Cruse            Bereavement Care. Dennis is   looking forward to working with the team and  building further on the success of the Day Hospice.

Helen Cooper  joined us in          December as our new Fundraising

We wish her well in her studies at Brunel University.                           Her successor Julia joined us on 10th of February,  we also have another student Shelina joining us on the 17th of February,  both will  combine Events & Communications.
