	LIGHT UP A LIFE Last year was our first Light up a Life campaign, which proved very popular and contributed a great deal to our work. Light up a Life provides an opportunity to remember or honour someone important to you by making a donation to the Hospice. The pattern this year will be very similar with an evening of poetry and music on 25th April to round off the event. We are very conscious of the range of cultures and beliefs that make up our community and try to ensure that all can participate. We would appreciate any help in promoting Light up a Life through places of worship, workplaces and clubs. We also need help in organizing the evening. Contact Bob Cornell on 020 8759 0453


	Corporate Citizenship The number of businesses that offer support to the Hospice increases by the month! In recent weeks we have benefited from a Hasbro volunteer team at our Ickenham Shop, British Airways donated a computer, furniture and the proceeds of a raffle, and substantial funds were given from the proceeds of Christmas celebrations at Canon Europe and Komfort Services. Of course, all our old friends in the business sector still continue to support us throughout the year.


	Bereavement Care The Bereavement Care Service offers support through the Forget Me Not group, as well as counselling and visiting. The aim of the group is to offer support and companionship in a social setting to those experiencing grief from bereavement. Anyone who has suffered a bereavement is welcome to come along. Staff and volunteers are always on hand to chat, listen or provide useful information at what is a difficult time. The meetings take place on the 1st Friday of every month from 2pm - 4pm. Forthcoming meetings 7th Feb 03 Lunch at Botwell Inn, Coldharbour Lane, Hayes 2pm-4pm. 7th Mar 03 Day Hospice 2pm-4pm 4th April 03 Lunch, at the Turning Point, Cowley 1pm- 3pm Transport can be arranged if necessary.

THEATRE OUTING

Thank you to all those who
responded to our invitation
for a night at the theatre. As a result we are all off to see Mamma Mia on the 27th February. Watch this space for more outings.
