Social Worker

£25,000 pro rata
Part time - 7.5 hours per week
(Flexible over 1 or 2 days)

A unique opportunity has arisen for a social worker to lead and develop our existing Bereavement and Carer Services. Also to assist in the future development of the Hospice care services.

The successful candidate will have:

o Recognised qualification in Social Work with at least 5 years experience
o Qualification in Counselling desirable
o Commitment and sensitivity to palliative care
o Assessment skills
o Self-motivation and initiative
o Interest in personal and team development

Volunteer Drivers desperately needed

Have you got an hour to spare on one day a week? We need drivers to transfer patients from their home to and from the Day Hospice.  Morning work involves picking up one or two patients from their homes around 10.00 am and driving them to our Day Care for 10.15. The afternoons
Require you picking up patients at 3.25, or why don't you come and join us before  you drive for a cuppa?

Active Access Worker

We have just received funding for a 12 month position for an Active Access worker, this person will be responsible for building the bridges with the Black and Asian minority groups.  The aim of this position is to provide better informed
services in order to access these groups in our community. This person will ideally derive from one of these community groups. If you are

Charity Box Collectors needed
Can  you spare just 2-4 DAYS A YEAR!

Please come forward  to help us service our charity boxes at business addresses and public houses in the borough of Hillingdon. We need to count the contents of our boxes on site at 6 monthly intervals.  We would like to increase the number of boxes in the community so that we can continue to raise funds for our services and future development.
