A big Thanks to Brunel University

On the 5th March Brunel University very kindly invited Harlington Hospice to hold a stall at their University Job Fair. This was a fantastic opportunity for us as we were able to market the Hospice and appeal for volunteers and support.

A very big thank you to all these who helped with the Mother's Day wrapping at the Chimes Shopping Centre in February.

Also a very special Thank You to everyone who donated on the day and to Barclays who doubled our money and made the day possible.

On Friday 29th March staff from Lansdowne House set up in the Chimes Shopping Centre to wrap gifts for Mother's Day. With the help from our volunteers, friends and family we were able to raise money for the hospice which Barclay's kindly doubled for us.

Hayes F.C. makes important transfer

Elaine and chequeChief Executive Elaine Fearnside receives a cheque for £1,666 from Hayes FC before their recent home fixture with Dorchester Town. The club kindly nominated the Hospice for a share of their Charity Shield entitlement as a result of their 2004/05 FA Cup run.

Unfortunately, Elaine didn't bring the club much luck; Dorchester scored the only goal of the game in the last minute!
