Last year our charity shops across the borough raised an amazing £650k!

This wouldn't have been possible without our fantastic volunteers. We are always looking for volunteers to come and help at our 8 shops.

The roles within our shops vary from window displays and serving customers, to sorting donations and steaming stock.

Volunteering provides great personal benefits and career development:

  • Customer service skills
  • Retail skills such as visual merchandising.
  • Increased confidence
  • Team-working skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Meeting new people

“It only takes a few hours a week to make a real difference.”

Why volunteer?

Giving your time and skills helps the Hospice but is can also be a great experience for you…..

  • meet new people and make new friends
  • feel valued and be part of a team
  • learn new skills to add to your CV
  • move towards making a career change
  • share your specialist skills with others
  • pursue an interest outside ‘the day job’
  • support people who are at a challenging period in their life

Whatever your circumstance and even if you only can make a small regular commitment, volunteering at  Harlington Hospice is easy.
