Volunteer for us

At Harlington Hospice we feel our volunteers are

volunteer thoughts

Want to join us?

Giving your time and skills helps the Hospice but it can also be a great experience for you…..

  • meet new people and make new friends
  • feel valued and be part of a team
  • learn new skills to add to your CV
  • move towards making a career change
  • share your specialist skills with others
  • pursue an interest outside ‘the day job’
  • support people who are at a challenging period in their life

Whatever your circumstance and even if you only can make a small regular commitment, volunteering at Harlington Hospice is easy.

Complete a volunteering form  and email it to [email protected]

Just so you know…..

You must be aged 14 years or above, (16 years if assisting with patients),   and able to provide two references from someone who is not a relative.

You may need to undergo DBS checks to undertake some roles.

Do you have specialist skills?

The Hospice is able to provide specialist support to many more patients and carers because some people donate their time and skills to our Wellbeing and Counselling Services.

We would love to hear from you if you are:

  • A qualified complementary therapist
  • A student counsellor looking for a placement

If you have these or other specialist skills that could be of benefit to the Hospice, please contact our Office Manager [email protected]
