Leave a Gift in your Will

This page gives you guidance on how to leave a gift to the Hospice in your Will that will live on to change lives.

By remembering Harlington Hospice in your Will, your generosity will help us to continue the services that your local community will need in the future, helping people to maintain their quality of life.

Our vital care is, and always has been, provided totally free of charge to those who need us. A gift in your Will is one of the kindest ways that you can offer your support to the Hospice and help sustain its future. Leaving a gift in your Will to a cause that is close to your heart is a great way to make a lasting difference.

We value all gifts from small items of value to antique furniture, as well as cash sums and occasionally even an entire estate.

Types of Gifts:

A Residuary Gift - Once your family has been cared for and debts and expenses paid, you may consider leaving part of your estate to Harlington Hospice e.g. 1% of the residue of your estate.

A Pecuniary Gift - A fixed gift of money e.g. £1,000.

A Specific Gift - This can be anything from clothing, furniture to a piece of jewellery.

Charitable Gifts in Wills are not subject to inheritance tax, so you can be assured that any gift you make to Harlington Hospice would be realised in full.
