Expression of Interest: HHCP Workforce Development Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 12 month secondment within HHCP to support the partnership with developing the workforce required to meet the future challenges across the Hillingdon system. 

The successful candidate will be delivering a 12 month project to understand the current and future workforce needs relating to health and social care; across Acute, Primary and Community care; across Mental and Physical care to meet the needs of the population.  This will include expanding and further embedding the work carried out and outcomes achieved during the previous phase while building on this to deliver the next phase of work and key recommendations emerging from phase 1 – key focus areas including future visioning, refining the gap analysis and continuing to build system wide relationships

The post holder will provide workforce development strategic and operational input with a particular focus on supporting delivery of the Neighbourhood development programme and key elements of the Intermediate Tier programme, in line with the Integrated Business Case, as part of developing the future workforce.

The candidate will be required to support HHCP to lay a solid, well-prepared foundation for the future workforce, capable of supporting and enabling the next five years of transformation and beyond.  The post holder will take a strategic project role co-ordinating capacity and capability in partnership with Community and third sector Provider, Primary Care Organisations and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). 

This post would suit a highly self-motivated individual, with operational or clinical experience with an ability to influence, engage and challenge with integrity and credibility. We are looking for a candidate with excellent organisational and leadership skills who has the ability to develop the workforce to its full potential and secure sustainability.

Harlington Hospice is urgently looking for Domiciliary Carers to help our clients within the London Borough of Hillingdon.

We help those with varying needs to enable them to remain in their own homes but who require additional support with personal care, or activities that allows them to maintain their independence and quality of life.
