Further update on Changes to arrangements for palliative care – Michael Sobell Hospice and Mount Vernon Hospital

Dear All

We are pleased to write to you again to announce that as of Thursday 31st October 2019, the Day Centre Clinical Service, previously provided by East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust successfully completed its transition to Harlington Hospice.

All referrals should now be directed to the Day Service: Hillccg.MSHreferrals@nhs.net

Staff delivering this much loved service have now transferred over to Harlington Hospice and we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that have worked to make the transition happen.

You will note from our last communications that inpatient services are also planned to transition to the Hospice from December 2019.  Refurbishment work of the inpatient suites is currently underway, fully funded by The Michael Sobell Hospice Charity with thanks to all of their supporters.

Once we have more information we will write to you with referral details for this service.

In the meantime if you have any questions about the Michael Sobell Hospice service that has been re-commissioned by Hillingdon CCG, please do not hesitate to contact the CCG at HILLCCG.HCCGCommunications@nhs.net, or 01895 203000, quoting “Michael Sobell Hospice Query”.

With thanks

On behalf of Hillingdon CCG and Harlington Hospice
