Our events
Our events are a great way to support the services we offer and meet new people by taking part in exciting activities.
The events we host are an opportunity for us to engage with our community and raise money to allow us to keep our Hospice running on a daily basis, and to ensure that people with a serious or terminal illness have the individualised care and support that they need.
We have a range of events throughout the year which everyone can take part in and attend to support our community. From our Golf Day and Plant Sale that are organised by volunteers, to our Light up a Life Ceremony that is a reflective moment to remember those that are close to us and have died, and our Jingle Jogs for schools and nurseries. We have something for everyone.
Challenge events
Challenge events are organised by third-party event providers and give you the opportunity to support Harlington Hospice while taking part alongside fundraisers for many different charities. Whether you run, walk, cycle, skydive or take on your own unique challenge, every step helps ensure local people and their families receive compassionate care and support when they need it most.
Why we need your support
As a charity, although we work well with our local NHS teams only about 50% are costs are funded by the NHS, Every year we need to raise at least £2.1 million to keep our hospice services running. It is thanks to the generosity of our supporters that we can continue to stand alongside our vibrant Hillingdon community when they need us most.
We know how important it is for our patients, their families and loved ones receive compassionate care and support that is tailored around their needs, in the place and at the time that is right for them. Every donation helps us provide that care each day, while also enabling us to go above and beyond for people and families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
