Our much-loved Firewalk is back, and this year there’s a brand-new challenge to take on too. Join us on Saturday 20 March 2027 for the Michael Sobell House Firewalk & Legowalk, a special fundraising event celebrating 50 years of Michael Sobell House.
Whether you choose to walk across hot coals, put your feet to the test on a path of LEGO bricks, or take on both challenges, you’ll be helping to raise vital funds for local patients and families who need hospice care.

Legowalk: Feel the bricks
New for 2027, our Legowalk is here to put your bravery to the test in a very different way.
Can you take on a path of LEGO bricks barefoot? It’s a challenge that will test your determination, bring plenty of encouragement from the sidelines and give you a memorable story to tell.

Celebrating 50 years of Michael Sobell House
2027 marks the 50th anniversary of Michael Sobell House, a significant milestone in our story of caring for local people.
For five decades, Michael Sobell House has been there for people who need specialist palliative and end-of-life care, helping patients and families through some of life’s most difficult moments.
We’re marking this anniversary by making our Firewalk bigger and better than ever, introducing the Legowalk and bringing our community together for a festival-style celebration.
Come along, take on a challenge, cheer on friends and family, and help us celebrate 50 years of care.
