Taking part in an event is a fantastic way to support Michael Sobell House while doing something meaningful and often memorable! Whether you’re looking for a fun day out, a personal challenge, or a way to give back, we have something for everyone.
From shopping at our Plant Sale, walking across hot coals at our Firewalk, to reflecting at our Light Up a Life Ceremony, our calendar of events is as varied as it is inspiring. Many of our events also offer volunteering opportunities a great way to meet new people and work alongside our dedicated Fundraising Team.
Looking for an adrenaline rush? You could run the London Landmarks Half Marathon, take on a Marathon, or leap into action with a skydive or bungee jump. Taking on a challenge for Michael Sobell House not only pushes your limits, it also helps fund the care and compassion we’re proud to provide every day.

Events on JustGiving
You can create your own fundraising event or activity for Harlington Hospice and Michael Sobell House on Just Giving’s events section .
JustGiving charges 0% platform fees on all donations provided to us. This mean that ever penny raised and donated on Just Giving will go directly to support people in Hillingdon through Harlington Hospice services and our inpatient hospice, Michael Sobell House.

Why we need your support
As a charity, although we work well with our local NHS teams only about 50% are costs are funded by the NHS, Every year we need to raise at least £2.1 million to keep our hospice services running. It is thanks to the generosity of our supporters that we can continue to stand alongside our vibrant Hillingdon community when they need us most.
We know how important it is for our patients, their families and loved ones receive compassionate care and support that is tailored around their needs, in the place and at the time that is right for them. Every donation helps us provide that care each day, while also enabling us to go above and beyond for people and families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
