Come and bag a bargain at our popular book stall and raise funds for Michael Sobell House.

You can find our popular bookstall that raises money for Michael Sobell House at the Amersham market every Tuesday and Wednesday – except when it rains! It’s also a major fixture of local events such as the Croxley Revels, Chorleywood Village Fair and the Rickmansworth Christmas Fair.

You can find almost any book you’re interested in, and we have a variety of genres, everything from bestsellers like Dan Brown’s The Da Vicini Code to rare classic finds. Our volunteers are on hand to help customers find any book they’re interested in and even take requests! They’ll try to source a book for you where possible. We also sell a jigsaws too.

We operate a collection service for large quantities of books only, managed by Kamal Sood (Volunteer). Bookings can be made through him directly on email at kamalsood@live.co.uk

The generosity of our supporters means we can continue to bring much needed palliative care to our vibrant community across Hillingdon. As a hospice only part funded by the NHS, your donations allow us to keep our Hospice running every day, as well as go above and beyond for people experiencing the most vulnerable moments in their lives.
