Trek Sahara 2027

Take on the adventure of a lifetime and trek through the breathtaking landscapes of Morocco, from the High Atlas Mountains to the vast golden dunes of the Sahara Desert, all while supporting Harlington Hospice.

This six-day challenge offers the perfect blend of physical adventure, cultural discovery and unforgettable scenery. You will journey far from the everyday, immersing yourself in a landscape shaped by centuries of nomadic life, and return home with memories that will last a lifetime.

12th - 17th Nov 2027. This is a six-day overseas challenge, excluding travel time.

Morocco, from Marrakech to the Sahara Desert, including the High Atlas Mountains and remote desert landscapes.

Who can take part?

You must be aged 18 or over to join this trek. A good level of fitness is recommended, but no previous trekking experience is required.

Trip overview

Embark on an unforgettable journey from the bustling souks of Marrakech to the vast, windswept dunes of the Sahara Desert.

This incredible challenge takes you across dramatic mountain passes, along ancient caravan routes and deep into the heart of the desert. Along the way, you will meet your team of Berber guides and camels, trek through ever-changing terrain and experience the true stillness of the Sahara.

By day, you will walk through dunes, rocky plateaus and hidden oases. By night, you will sleep under the stars in traditional desert camps.

Your adventure finishes in the vibrant city of Marrakech, where you can soak up the colour, energy and culture of this historic destination.

How much does it cost?

A registration fee of £395 is made (to The Different Travel Company) at the time of booking.
The trip cost is £955 and this balance is payable to Different Travel 12 weeks before departure.
Minimum sponsorship of £955 to be raised for Michael Sobell House and/or Harlington Hospice. Any fundraising undertaken cannot be used for trip costs.
