We are seeking an Area Manager who can manage the day to day running of our 11 Harlington Hospice, Michael Sobell and Age UK (Brent, Hillingdon, Harrow) charity shops in the north west of London, and who can be part of a team delivering our new retail strategy.
This is a unique opportunity as the shops are owned by three charities who have united to maximise the synergies of working together and it thus offers a great opportunity to develop your managerial skills.
We are looking for someone who is currently a charity shop Area Manager, or we will also consider applications from someone who has managed a charity shop for a number of years and who also has experience of managing a team of people from any sector.
The person we need must have great leadership qualities, excellent people management and change management skills and who has shown they can drive sales and profits.
We are expecting the charities’ commercial activities to grow substantially over the next few years, and it is expected that the person selected will grow with it to become a senior figure and leader.
