Amersham Market – Every Tuesday
Our popular book stall raises money for Michael Sobell House at the Amersham market every Tuesday (apart from when it is raining). We stock a large range of both fiction and non-fiction books across a range of genres.Â
Our book stalls are also a major fixture of local events such as
- The Croxley Revels
- The Chorleywood Village Fair
- The Rickmansworth Christmas Fair.

We can help you find the book you are looking for
You can find almost any book you’re interested in, we stock everything from bestsellers like Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code to rare classic finds. Our volunteers are on hand to help you find any book they’re interested in. They’ll try to source a book for you where possible. We also sell a jigsaws too.
Donating your books
We operate a collection service for large quantities of books only, managed by Kamal Sood (Volunteer). Bookings can be made through him directly on email at kamalsood@live.co.uk
Why we need your support
The generosity of our supporters means we can continue to bring much needed palliative care to our vibrant community across Hillingdon. As a hospice only part funded by the NHS, your donations allow us to keep our Hospice running every day, as well as go above and beyond for people experiencing the most vulnerable moments in their lives.
