Sunday sees the return of the Michael Sobell Hospice annual Light up a Life Remembrance Ceremony, an opportunity for families and friends to come together in memory, and honour, of a loved one.

The Ceremony, taking place on Sunday 28th November, in the hall inside the Michael Sobell Hospice Fundraising building (next door to the Hospice) at 3.30pm (fully booked) and 5.30pm, will be a poignant service consisting of music, kindly provided by local choir Lemon Tuesday, and readings, and ending with the lighting of a Christmas tree as the focal point of this very special event.

The Ceremony provides a reflective moment to remember those no longer with us, with an invitation to dedicate a light to a loved one with a personalised message that will be displayed as a star upon the tree throughout Christmas and New Year. You can make a Light up a Life dedication online, and all dedications will also be added to a virtual dedication page.

If you would like to donate towards Michael Sobell Hospice alongside your dedication, your kind gift will help support the continued provision of hospice care in the local community.
