Why ride for Harlington Hospice?

By taking part, you will be helping us provide specialist palliative and end of life care to people and families across our community. Every mile you cycle and every pound you raise will make a real difference.

With a minimum fundraising target of £150, your support could help fund vital nursing care, emotional support and practical advice for local families when they need it most.

When you join Team Harlington, you will receive:

  • A Harlington Hospice cycling vest
  • Fundraising tips and support from our team
  • Regular contact and encouragement in the lead up to the event
  • The loudest cheer at the finish line
The route

Starting on Clapham Common, the route heads through South London and into the Surrey and Sussex countryside before tackling the famous Ditchling Beacon climb. From there, it is a thrilling descent towards the Brighton seafront where you will cross the finish line on Madeira Drive.

The route is fully signposted and supported, with water stops, marshals and medical assistance along the way.

What support is provided?

The event is organised by Skyline Events, who provide:

  • Clearly marked route and marshals
  • First aid and on-route support
  • Water stops
  • Finisher’s medal and rider number
  • Access to an online participant portal with training plans, route maps and fundraising advice

Optional coach and bike transport from Brighton back to London is available for an additional cost. Spaces are limited and must be booked via the participant portal after registration.

If supporters have event specific questions, they can contact the organisers directly at info@londonbrightoncycle.co.uk.
