Our Executive Team
Our Executive Team is responsible for the daily operations and running of our Hospice. They work with their teams to implement our services and to provide fundraising and administrative support to the Charity.
Our Trustees
Our Board of Trustees is made up of committed individuals who are specialists in their field. They use their knowledge and experience to provide advice on the strategic direction of our Hospice. They are also responsible for approving major decisions, including our annual expenditure and income targets.
Caldicott Guardian
A Caldicott Guardian is a senior person responsible for protecting the confidentiality of people’s health and care information and ensuring it is used appropriately and lawfully. Organisations that provide health and social care services are required to have a Caldicott Guardian.

Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO)
Jane Wheeler, Chief Executive at Harlington Hospice, is our Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO).
The SIRO is a senior member of the organisation who takes overall responsibility for managing information risks. They provide leadership on information risk and help ensure that appropriate arrangements are in place to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information.

Data Protection Officer (DPO)
Our Data Protection Officer is Sara Ryan, Director of Clinical Services.
The DPO provides advice and guidance on data protection and helps ensure that Harlington Hospice complies with data protection legislation and protects people’s personal information.
