For the ninth year-running, Michael Sobell Hospice Charity’s (MSHC) biggest fundraiser of the year, Ladies in the Night Walk, is back with a summer carnival twist on Friday 15th June at 10pm.

This year’s event will see a sizzling carnival celebration along with a brand new 10-mile route or the popular 5.5 mile walking challenge.

Throughout January, anyone interested in signing up for either the shorter five and a half mile walk or the 10-mile route, can claim an ‘Early Bird’ offer of £15pp instead of £25 (up until 31st January). There will also be a February offer of £20pp for groups of 10 or more. Registration includes a t-shirt, fundraising pack, souvenir medal, refreshments and breakfast on completion of the challenge.

Commenting on the event, MSHC Community Fundraiser Vanessa Howden-Smith said: “Last year 850 walkers raised nearly £90,000 – simply incredible! This year we would love to beat this figure. Every year, the Charity needs to raise over £1.6 million to provide the high quality hospice care for its patients and their families, so we really hope that our supporters will grab their trainers and dayglow and sign up once again for this fantastic community event. Please join us for a night of summertime fun and help raise vital funds for your local Hospice.”
