Management Vacancies
We are looking to recruit two senior management posts for people who can work with the Executive team to lead and deliver within key areas for the Hospice. 
  • Assistant Director, Operations (see below)
  • Assistant Director, Development  (see below)
 

These posts will sit in our corporate functions, but require an ability to work closely with our frontline teams, maintaining focus on our ultimate beneficiaries; patients, their loved ones and the local community.

Harlington Hospice operates where clinical, financial and relationship responsibilities are shared across the Executive team. Assistant Director – Operations

Job Description: This role, as a new role, will lead on supporting the Hospice and its teams to continue to meet the needs of our patients and their loved ones. Specifically, this role has responsibility for building and developing a corporate infrastructure that remains lean but can deliver support to our frontline teams. The postholder will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team with responsibility for a range of key areas within the Hospice.

Location: Fundraising Building at Michael Sobell House, Mount Vernon Hospital

Working Hours: 37.5 – part time or flexible working patterns considered

Salary: Salary: £50,000+ per year with flexibility dependent on experience and skills

Job Description: Registered Nurse with an interest in Palliative Care and End of Life Care, responsible for delivering a high standard of care to everyone staying at our 13 bed Inpatient Unit.

Location: Inpatient Unit at Michael Sobell House, Mount Vernon Hospital

Working Hours: Nights plus bank hours

Salary: NHS Band 5 equivalent (Existing NHS pensions honoured or workplace pension available)

Care Support Workers

Job Description: Harlington Care provides support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Work ranges from domiciliary care to respite support in an individual’s own home and group activities in the community.

Location: Clients own home, in the London Borough of Hillingdon and Hounslow, and surrounding areas.

Working hours: Agreed between employee and manager upon successful appointment.

Salary: £13.15 weekdays Enhanced rates for weekends and bank holidays

Reports to: Harlington Care Manager.

Job Description: You will assist the Harlington Care Manager by undertaking referrals and assessments, working in partnership with external agencies to ensure clients’ needs are met.

Ensure that client and carer needs and circumstances are appropriately assessed and reviewed and these are reflected in care plans and care delivery.

Location: Clients own home, in the London Borough of Hillingdon, Ealing  and Hounslow.

Working hours: Full time and part time positions available.

Agreed between employee and manager upon successful appointment.

Salary: £13.52 weekdays Enhanced rates for weekends and bank holidays

Reports to: Harlington Care Manager.
